Christmas at Mom-I and Pop-I

This part of Christmas did not go exactly the way everyone expected.  It ended up being more quiet than expected and it worked out great!  It was wonderful to watch the kids together and to see the pleasure they were getting in just being together.

Christmas morning

Steve and I woke up at 8:00 this morning to a very quiet house.  All three of the boys were still asleep.  We could not believe it!  So, we slowly got ready to start our day.  Charlie was up around 8:30.  At 8:45 we went in and made sure that Zachary and Nicolas accidentally woke up.

We started to open presents.  The boys were very excited to see what Santa brought them.  They got new swings (which will be put up in the spring), some markers, coloring books, toothbrushes, golf clubs and the last race car they were missing to complete the World Grand Prix race cars from Cars 2.  They were so excited!  Santa did an amazing job!  We got them the Tag reader which they absolutely love.  We now have to hunt for some English books for them since most of what can be found here are in French.  I will get some of those too, but I would also like to find a few more English ones.  Maybe during our next trip to the States we can shop for some.  Charlie got a Buster (a stuffed dog to sleep with) from his big brothers.  Since he needed nothing and had no idea what was going on, we bought him a rubber duckie for the bath.  Here are some shots from our fun morning...

An insight into their dreams

Nicolas woke up after having a bad dream and so I went in to comfort him.  I asked him what the problem was and he said...`Mommy, I was jumping on Charlie`s bed (he`s obviously in a crib) and trying to knock Zachary down.  But I fell off and my toes landed in a spiderweb.``

How weird is that?

Candy Train

 We went over to Mom-I`s this morning so the boys could do their part in putting together a Candy Train.  Here are a few pictures of our time trying not to eat all of the candy...

Christmas with Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa were up today so that we could have our Christmas with them.  They arrived around 10:00 to some very excited little boys.  We opened a few presents before lunch, had lunch and them opened some more.  It was a wonderful day and the weather was perfect.  The snow was falling outside and it finally felt like Christmas.  The boys were spoiled as usual, but completely within reason.  I was very happy about that.  They loved all of their gifts including Charlie's.  Here are a few pictures....

Charlie is 6 months old today!

I cannot believe that my littlest man is already 6 months old!  Here we are only 6 months later and we cannot even begin to imagine what our lives were like before his arrival.  He is still such a wonderful and happy little boy.  His big brothers love him to pieces and I know that the feeling is mutual.

Here is my big 6 month old...  The outfit he is wearing, Nicolas wore for his 11 month picture!  I see his pediatrician on Thursday so I should have all of his stats then...
