Mom-I's 65th birthday!

Yesterday was Mom-I's 65th birthday.  She wanted to celebrate by having us all (the entire family) in Ottawa with her.  We stayed at the Travelodge with the indoor water park which was great for the kids.  We arrived in the morning, went to the pool and then after a quick lunch went to Uncle Tom and Aunt Alison's.  They took us to a hiking trail that has tame birds.  They will come to your hand if you have food for them.  The kids loved it!  It was great because there was lots of room for them to run around and they had a blast feeding the birds.  Here are a few pictures...

We then had a BBQ dinner at Tom and Alison's.  The kids were able to play with each other and the adults had some good talk time.  We went back to the hotel and the boys went to bed almost immediately and without a fuss.  After the big boys went to bed, I went down to the hot tub and pool.  After a not-so-great night's sleep (due to other rowdy hotel guests) we had a nice brunch at the hotel with everyone.  Here is a picture of all of Mom-I's grandchildren...
