Silliness and cuteness...

The boys have been very affectionate towards one another lately. Maybe it's because Steve and I are very affectionate towards them. But it is just so cute! I snapped a picture just as Zachary was leaning in to give Nicolas an unprompted kiss... It just melts my heart...



The boys love to play on the couch. Thankfully can climb off and on our couch upstairs so I don't really worry too much when they are up there. Here they are just hanging out and playing with one of their musical french books. They love it because it plays music and there is something to move on every page. Usually this book causes arguments but this morning they were quite happy to share...

Messy Lunch

The boys had a very messy lunch today. Thankfully I thought about it prior to giving it to them and took their shirts off before dishing out the food!

They love to get messy but hate being cleaned up after...

Here are a few pictures of my silly little men. They were playing with one of Steve's baseball hats this morning. They enjoy putting it on and walking around.

15 month check-up

The boys went in for their 15 month check-up today. Everything went extremely well. The boys were very good and hardly cried. Zachary was not too fond of having his ears checked, but other than that they were good. Nicolas even lifted his shirt for the doctor to check his heart, when prompted by me to show his tummy!

Here is where we stand:

Zachary is weighing in at 24 lbs 10 oz and is 31 inches long

Nicolas is weighing in at 22 lbs 7 oz and is 31 1/2 inches long

Both boys had similar close on when weighed and according to their pediatrician, Zachary had a big poop brewing... He felt his left kidney a second time because he thought he felt something only for it to be a poop! I also have a referral to an allergist to find out if Zachary is allergic to peanuts or not. I will be making an appointment tomorrow...

Randomness...

The boys found some empty laundry baskets and started playing with them. I helped them discover that they could get into them. I thought they looked so cute sitting in them, I had to take a picture...


The boys get to watch me sweep a lot. Zachary loves to follow me around while I sweep and try to get into the pile of dirt. So, I decided to give him a clean Swiffer and let him go. He walked up and down the hall for a good 10-15 minutes. I am already trying to train him to be a good husband! His future wife can thank me later!!


I think I have a Linus on my hands. Nicolas has taken a shining to his blankie. It has always been in his crib and now he likes to go into his room and pull it out through the bars of the crib. He will randomly walk around with it and cuddle with it on the couch. He apparently has a few of his father's genes in him... shall we call it "gee-gee"?

Nicolas is walking!

Nicolas started to officially walk yesterday. We are so excited and it is so cute to watch him go. Here is a little video of my littlest man and his new walking skills!
