My Dad is a huge Red Sox fan.  He was recently in Boston and brought the boys back some Red Sox gear directly from Fenway.  So, here they are sporting some of the nice stuff he brought back...

Imagination Movers

The boys have been watching the Imagination Movers on the Disney Channel lately. They love the last song. Here they are dancing to it:

The Alphabet....

The boys love to sing.  Lately, other than the Sesame Street songs, their favorite thing to sing is the alphabet.  You can hear them at random times during the day breaking out into the alphabet song.  It is so funny!  Especially when it happens first thing in the morning (almost as soon as they wake up) and sometimes even in the middle of the night.

They got this fun Leapfrog toy for their birthday (from Uncle Dan, Auntie Nat and Alexandra) and it has been a huge hit.  It sings the alphabet song.  Here is a little video of them playing it and singing along.  The only problem is that the urge to press buttons is usually stronger than the desire to listen to the whole song so they keep getting interrupted!

Mother's Day

I first of all wanted to wish all the Mommies out there a very Happy Mother's Day!  I hope you enjoy your special day with your little (and not so little) ones!

We don't really celebrate Mother's Day.  The boys are too young to be making me crafts and cards, so we are just spending the weekend together as a family.  The weather has been horrible, but we were lucky enough to catch a break yesterday and we headed out to the Ecomuseum to walk around.  We were the only ones there and it was amazing!  The highlight of the trip for the boys were the tractors that were sitting at the porcupine exhibit.  Go figure!  So, Mommy took a picture of the boys with the tractor...

They have been in an awesome mood today.  We had a chance to get some work done while they played together.  The giggles were contagious and the silliness was in full force!  I am so lucky to have such beautiful and healthy little men!  What more could a mother ask for??

2 Year Checkup

The boys had their 2 year-old well check-up yesterday.  They were amazingly good... even the doctor commented on what good boys we have.  He asked them some questions and they were mostly able to answer him back.  He also have them each a new tractor /truck.  They were so excited and have been showing them to me over and over telling me the doctor gave it to them.  They were also given a small piece of chocolate to put in the tractors. So, they left the doctor's office before 9:00am with chocolate all over their faces!

They are both doing great.  Here are the stats:

Zachary weighs almost 28 pounds and is 34 inches tall.

Nicolas weighs almost 27 pounds and is 35 inches tall.

I am very happy that Nicolas has made up some ground.  He is now in the 40th percentile for his weight rather than the 10th.  I wasn't overly concerned about this, but it's nice to know that he's gaining and is on track.  He is going to be a tall boy since he was 3/4" shorter than Zachary at birth and he's now taller than him!  I think Zachary is a little taller than they have written down since he lowered his head when she went to mark off his height.  Regardless, Nicolas is still taller... I guess he's going to be tall like his Daddy.

Zachary has slimmed down since our last visit.  He hasn't lost weight, but he is now under the 50th percentile for weigh rather than above it.  I guess all of his running around and being active is paying off!  I guess I should take his example and do the same... maybe then I could start dropping my weight!

We spent a quiet day as a family enjoying every minute with our two little men.  We played outside for hours and laughed so much.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful, healthy boys.  We also decided we are going to start taking a family picture on their birthday.  So, here is the one for their second birthday:

The boys also took the time to play with all of their birthday presents.  They were spoiled rotten but seem to be enjoying every one of their gifts.  Here are a few pictures of our adventures with the new toys...

Their 2nd birthday party

Today we had their 2nd birthday party.  It wasn't supposed to be a big party, but when you include all of their family, it turns into one.  It actually makes me quite happy to know that there are so many people who want to celebrate our little men with us.

Sadly, some of their cousins had to cancel at the last minute and we missed them alot.  It would have been so much fun to have them all here.  Maybe next year!  The cousins loved the cupcakes.  Nicolas did well with his but Zachary did not want any of his.  I am sure by this time next year it will be a different story.
