Charlie is already 4 months old!

Charlie turned 4 months old today.  I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by.  Maybe the fact that he is such a big little guy, it makes it seem like the time has gone by even more quickly.  This morning he was in for his 4 month vaccinations.  They took a minute to weigh him beforehand and he is 18 lbs 3oz!  Zachary and Nicolas were both under 16 lbs at 4 months!

He is a wonderful little boy.  He is always so happy and smiling.  He rarely cries.  He is madly in love with his big brothers and I can honestly say the feeling is mutual.  He loves bath time and is enjoying splashing around in the big tub.  He loves bottle time with Daddy and knows exactly what's about to happen when he sees the bottle.  He reaches for it and directs it into his mouth.  Not bad for someone who only gets one bottle per day!

He is great at playing independently.  He will play for at least 15-20 minutes on his play mat, in his bouncy chair or in the Excersaucer.  He has also fallen prey to the aquarium in his crib just like his big brothers!  What a great gift those were!  He is also able to lull himself to sleep under most circumstances.  He occasionally likes to cuddle before bed, but a lot of the time he prefers to fall asleep in his crib.  He is a wonderful sleeper but like his Daddy and his brothers.... a noisy one!

Anyhow, he is just a wonderful baby.  There would be a lot of very large families if all babies were as good, cute and wonderful as he is.  Here is a picture of my cute littlest man...
